Sharb who was raised by an Anderson family in Fannin Co./near Clutter Point, TX. Mathew's father was John Shorb (name was mis spelled in error to read Sharb and never changed) and was reputedly shot and killed either in Fannin Co. or near Denison, Grayson Co. TX. Matthew was born in 1895 and had a younger brother, Willie Shorb who was adopted and raised by the Wilder family. I believe Willie was younger than Mathew; so, the death of John Shorb was sometime after 189?. Mathew D. Sharb married Etta Estelle Bridges in 1920 at Clutter Point, Fannin Co. TX. Any information about Mathew's father or the family, Anderson, that raised him would be appreciated.
