PHY, John and Alta (PHY) NUNLEY, and Newton J. and Maggie RAMSEY were from Putnam County, TN. Sometime before 1900, they settled in Fannin County, TX. It is possible that some of their siblings came with them: 1) Amanda PHY born abt 1863 2) Roseanna PHY/RAMSEY born abt 1858 3) James Emery PHY born abt 1869 4) Malinda PHY born abt 1871 Their mother Margaret J.
