I'm most interested in identifying the children in both families, as the 1880 census gives only initials. I believe John D. Barnhill was either the father or adoptive father of Earl Seaborn BARNHILL (b. 1867 in MS). Also seeking information on James H. HOWARD (b. 1838, d. before 1900 in Fannin Co.). James H.
