    1. [TXFANNIN-L] Burks Surname
    2. David L. Cates
    3. My great uncle, Robert L. Cates became the legal guardian of three minor children, Charles (8), Sammie (7), and Irene Burks (4). The Fannin County document is dated August 1924. The parents of the children were S. E. Burks, deceased at that time, and Elsie Burks. Does anyone have information on the Burks family? Every day is a good day. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus

I will scan the stories and send it on as soon as I can reconnect my scanner ( I got the bright Idea of starting the new year off by getting all organized ! I'm 6 days into the mess I made and having to use my lap for a desk. I'll never do that again :) "David L. Cates" wrote: > > My great uncle, Robert L.
