Without the 1890 census it is hard to know where they were between then and the 1900 census. I had two people email me on the Smith with attachments, but the virus protection kick up a fuss so, I didn't open them. I haven't been able to find out who they were. Wish they would email me again. I know there was a Preston Smith in Jackson Co., AL at the same time frame. I Wonder!!!. Thanks for the help. Pat
