    3. I am not tracing the Burkett's, but I have one in my family that married a William Franklin "Will" Burkett and they lived near Honeygrove. This Will married Nora Florence Ward on 30 August 1898 in Fannin County. I'm sorry but I know nothing else about him. Hope it helps. I am working on the Ward family. Yes, I believe my Burketts were from Honey Grove. Grelie and sister Mayola were supposedly born there. Their mother Ethel Bankston Burkett died giving birth to Grelie and his father Earnest Burkett died a short while later. Earnest' father's name was Robert, wife Martha. Later resided in Choctaw Co., OK.
