My grandmother was born in Bonham in Jan 1888. Her name was Florence Edna May. I found a babtism record that listed her dad as David May. He is supposed to have died when she was just a baby from sun stroke. Florence's mother Laura Hubbard was a cousin of Henrietta May, the wife of Dr. Reynolds May of Wightwright. Harvilla Ross Hubbard and Elizabeth Ross Rathburn were sisters and the mothers of Laura and Henrietta. It seems resonable to assume that David was related to this line of the May family but I can't find any census reports that could be him. The David's that I can find in the area were married or lived later than my David. Laura was born in 1872 and I believe that David would have been close to her age. Can anyone be of any help.
