I tried through the State offices but for some reason they kept referring to where she was born, Mississippi, and not where she died and telling me who and where I should contact in Mississippi. The web site tells you where to write and what information they need but did not give a fee. Her name is Fawnie Beaty, parents were Margaret and Robert Beaty and she was born in Mississippi but came to live in Texas with an uncle R.R. Hewitt. I only have the date of 1920 for the death since that is all that is on the head stone. Thanks for any help you can give me.
