    3. Margaret, you might try checking with the two largest funeral homes in the area. These two are in Bonham but that seems to be the closest to the Ivanhoe area. If the graves are unmarked or unreadable at this time, a burial record may be your only hope. Wise was established in 1908 and Cooper-Sorrels in 1938 but often times, funeral homes have the interment records of cemeteries or previous burial services. Also, the Texas Death Certificates which are slowly going online at footnote.com include a line for entering the location of interment. They are not always completed but are in many cases. It is highly likely that the specific certificates are NOT posted yet but both are in the time period that is being posted now. You might check. Searching is free and they have a "full access" free week so you can try the site out if you find something. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home 2022 N Center Bonham, TX 75418 903-583-5555 Wise Funeral Home 219 West Sam Rayburn Drive P.O. Box 188 Bonham, TX 75418 Phone: (903) 583-2161 Fax: (903) 583-2806 There are other funeral homes in the area. There's a link to addresses and phone numbers on the homepage at http://www.rootsweb.com/~txfannin/ On 9/12/07, Margaret Moffitt <[email protected]> wrote: > > I put a query in last week and my server went down so I didn't get any > replies.
