    3. No I did not find William in the Texas death records on ancestry.com either. That's one thing that leads me to believe he died soon after 1900 and may not even have a death certificate. Might possibly have an obit I suppose. I think I'll go ahead and sign up for footnote. Alabama and Texas are the states I mostly need info on and looks like they're right on target with those.
