    3. Thank you so much for posting these obituaries! I am the volunteer who is walking and indexing the Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove. [It is almost complete, folks!] I've been typing obits on days that are too hot or wet to walk and index but I'm excited every time I find one already typed for me! Thank you. Keep 'em coming! 1. [TXFANNIN] Oakwood Cemetery
    2. Carol Cantrell
    3. Hi Suzie, thank you so much for your volunteering to walk the Oakwood Cemetery. If you come across anything on a William York I would appreciate if you could let me know. I haven't found anything on him on any of the other online transcriptions. I know he was in Fannin County in 1900 due to census and his CSA pension application and believe he must have died shortly after that as I cannot find anything in the Texas death index for him or anywhere else after 1900. Thank you so much. Carol ----- Original Message ----- From: "Suzie Henderson" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2007 8:17 PM Subject: Re: [TXFANNIN] obit of G. 3. These are my only YORK surnames so far in the Oakwood Cemetery. I still have one more of the older sections to go. We'll see. Is this your man?? Page 5; York, William M (26); Y; Nineteenth Cavalry (Burford's Regiment); Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers Who Served in Organizations from the State of Texas<http://www.footnote.com/viewer.php?image=8484549&query=york> There are 5 pages of his Confederate Service record online at http: www.footnote.com They are also posting [note; I didn't say "already posted"] the Texas Death certificates. [YES, I did say certificates and they are beautiful] from 1890 to 1976 but only 2% are already online. Your William YORK is not yet listed but keep checking back. Hope this helps.
