That's funny. The Ancestry viewer drives me crazy! I'd rather use the index, find the microfilm reference and then go to Heritage Quest to see the census image. I just find their viewer really awkward to work with. The only problem I have with footnote is the time it takes to open the viewer. I would be very frustrated on a dial up.
