Father born in MS and mother in TX, It is believed that his mother was Irene Belle Priestly (sister of Finis Priestly). I have been told that he was listed in the 1915 memberof Rattlers Football team and also in First Christian Church of Ladonia in "Our Boys of Color". I am unable to find this or him in any later census. I am unsure if he lived to adulthood. He was the half brother of Sue Whitten Hicks. I would also like to know if anyone does look ups for the 1920 census of Fannin Co.
