I did an inter-library loan with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission for Casper Hartlage's records. The Texas State Library staff were really helpful. However, the Huntsville Prison records they furnished only referenced an unspecified theft. I was hoping that a record with some details might still be available in Fannin County.
