    3. My daughter lives in Whitewright. She tells me the town sits in BOTH counties, Fannin and Grayson. I laugh about that. She says the county line cuts right between the town, also tells me Whitewright has a fairly good library too, I know it has a historical marker down the street from her. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Ball" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 24, 2007 8:55 PM Subject: Re: [TXFANNIN] penn s of Fannin county, Texas > There was a Penn family in Whitewright - county next to Fannin. 3. Yes, Whitewright lies in both Grayson and Fannin Counties - mostly in Grayson but the city is growing eastward some. Makes me wonder if it was laid out in both counties or just so near Fannin County that the city spread that direction. Interesting. The Penn at Kentuckytown was named William Perry Penn and he is written about in the book "Murder at the Corners" that can be seen at the Whitewright Library. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peggy" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 24, 2007 9:06 PM Subject: Re: [TXFANNIN] penn s of Fannin county, Texas > My daughter lives in Whitewright.
