Austin, when I saw your message below, I thought I had your Jesse. My Great Grandmother was Emma Cooper and her father was Thomas Cooper. He had a son named Jessie Cooper, born May of 1880 in Texas. That information is from the 1900 Washita County, Oklahoma census. The 1870 census has Thomas with a wife named Jane and they lived in Bates County, Missouri. The 1880 census has him in Cooke County, Texas and the name of his wife looks like Margarett. Emma Cooper married my Great Grandfather John Lewis Brian in Lamar County and they lived in Fannin County. Thomas Cooper's father was also Thomas Cooper and had a wife named Kisiah.
