The 3 biggest cities in the county are Bonham, Honey Grove, and Leonard. Funeral Homes back then in Bonham were Wise funeral home and Cooper/Sorrells funeral home. Honey Grove had a branch of Cooper/Sorrells. I dont know what Leonard's funeral homes would have been. I'm more from the Northeast part of Fannin county. Honey Grove has a library online (I dont know how much help it will be) The name of it is Bertha Voyer Memorial Library. It's hard to find info here. The library has census on microfilm. Honey Grove has a large cemetary. It's called Oakwood Cemetary. G Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. In viewing a 1900 census image for Fannin County, the page I was interested in only showed Precinct #7 but another page listed "Justice". Is this a township? Where is it located in relation to Bonham, Honey Grove and Leonard. Am trying to find some additional info on William A. York who shows up on that 1900 census but not after and probably died prior to 1910. Any suggestions where I could look? Thanks in advance.
