The 3 biggest cities in the county are Bonham, Honey Grove, and Leonard. Funeral Homes back then in Bonham were Wise funeral home and Cooper/Sorrells funeral home. Honey Grove had a branch of Cooper/Sorrells. I dont know what Leonard's funeral homes would have been. I'm more from the Northeast part of Fannin county. Honey Grove has a library online (I dont know how much help it will be) The name of it is Bertha Voyer Memorial Library. It's hard to find info here. The library has census on microfilm. Honey Grove has a large cemetary. It's called Oakwood Cemetary. G Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Can you give me the web site for the Honey Grove Library. My Odom family were there in Honey Grove 1870 census.
