A huge announcement was made in Salt Lake City at the National Genealogy Conference yesterday that www.familysearch.org has added an astronomical amount of new records to its database. I suspect that in order to add 300 million names to the pilot family search database could cause some hiccups while searching. Here is the announcement link from www.familysearch.org: http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Home/News/frameset_news.asp?PAGE=Press/2010-4-28_300_Million_Names_and_New_Tools_Help_Genealogists.asp Hope you are having a great day! Thanks for sending that out, Linda. I had gotten the link last night but not the official announcement of release. The interface is pretty slick but will break us out of our comfort zone for a while. The pilot site is still active at it's old location and will be for a while...they just upgraded that to a new server as well. Here is the list of collections on the Beta site: http://fsbeta.familysearch.org/s/collection/list and here's a link to the beta site so you don't have to go back to the announcement to get it: http://fsbeta.familysearch.org/ Suzie On Thu, Apr 29, 2010 at 7:42 AM, Linda S.
