Author: rlsteinwehr Surnames: Weldon Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.texas.counties.fannin/1319.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: My great grandmother, married Thomas J Weldon Jr. In the early 1900's she and the children moved to Philadelphia. I have been able to find info on the Thomas J Weldon Sr, his wife and other children, from census' cemetery information, and articles such as the one you referenced here but have been unable to locate any further info -- death date etc on Thomas J Jr. Any suggestions of where to look would be greatly appreciated? 3. There is a Thomas J. Weldon Jr. 1822 - 1908 buried in the Orr's Chapel Cemetery in Fannin County. The person who made the Find-a-Grave entry said he served in the Civil War and they have a photo. You can go to www.findagrave.com and enter Thomas J Welson. Don
