I subscribe to the Trenton Tribune just so I can get the "Look at the Past" column but the newspapers are usually very late arriving in Newport, RI and I haven't received last week's issue yet. How many years ago did Eula visit Floyd? The Cambrons were related to my gm Clara May Keller Holmes, Floyd's wife. My gf Floyd started out w/ a store in Nobility in the early 1900s and then in the early 1920s moved the family to Trenton where he was a merchant. No direct descendants of Floyd remained in Fannin Co. All the children moved out. (Tom Mc Holmes who runs the Trenton Tribune is not related to my Holmes family, or, definitely not closely related.) But there are relatives of my gm Clara May Keller Holmes who live there. Clara May's sister Frances Fredericka married Earl Dockery and there are a number of Dockery relations including Mary Lou Dockery Kissinger, now at Seven Oaks Care Center in Bonham and Nancy Bellows who lives in Ector. Those are the two I keep in touch with. If there are others, please let me know. As you know from the email, I'm looking for the Holcomb connection to Floyd but am interested in connecting with any others as well. I will be in Texas this coming weekend and Bill Dockery has asked me to speak Sunday, May 16 at the Indian Creek Cemetery decoration day service. (Both Floyd and Clara May Holmes are among my relatives buried there.) Thank you again. Johanna Becker Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
