This is of course from the early days. As far as I know I have no relatives "Holmes" that live in Texas. Most of my Holmes live in Smyth County, Virginia. You might want to try death cerificates. I am not sure if this is the same Floyd born 19 Aug 1932. It looks like his father was T.S Holmes. It looks like they were both born in Georgia.
