My gf Floyd (F.S.)Holmes ran a country store in Nobility in the early 1900s. What happened to the buildings that constituted the community and where were they located? I found a deed (7 Dec. 1909) that F.S. Holmes purchased 1/10 acre lot with store, house and fixtures from his father-in-law (F.M. Keller). I think F.M. Keller, who bought the property in 1905 was proably helping his daughter and new son-in-law get established. The deed description says that the International Order of Odd Fellows and the Woodmen of the World had the second floor of the building.)
