    3. Not as far as I know. Our family spelled the name with two Ns - although I have seen it in earlier days with one N. The was a Benjamin J. Wrenn related to my great-grandfather - although the exact kinship isn't proven. Did your James Benjamin come from Maury Co.,Tenn? Our Wrenns came from there just after the Civil War. Some of the women came before the men who had been in the war. It has only been in recent years that I have researched the Wrenn family. My grandfather died when I was 18 years old and more interested in having fun than looking for ancient ancestors. He didn't talk much about his early life apparently because it was so painful. His father died when he was 6, his mother when he was 10 and he sorta went from pillar to post thereafter. Joan, Are you by chance related to James Benjamin Wren who married Sarah Alabama Durham in 1899? She is my great grand aunt. They lived just north of Wolfe City on the Fannin/Hunt County line. By 1910, they were in Memphis, Hall County, Texas, where they lived out their lives. Yes, I sent you some several months ago and really plan on finishing up soon. I got sidetracked when my sister-in-law fell and has fallen several times since. I have most of my family's obits. The ones I sent I think are all Wrenns. joan ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to TXFANNIN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to TXFANNIN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
