I'm interested in finding out more about John Rankin, my maternal great grandfather. As it turns out, he's buried in Burns Cemetery at Trenton. I have Mary Susan's obit but can find nothing on John (1856-1898). My grandmother, Susie Addie (Rankin) Hazel, was his youngest child, and she was born the same year he died. Many of the Hazals are buried in Pike Cemetery, but the Chadwells and Rankins are in Burns. By the way, the "Hazel" with "el" isn't a typo; of the 10 Hazal children, my grandfather, Lin Lock, and his brother, Robert, chose to spell their last name with the "el" rather than the "al" like the other Hazals.
