    3. Thanks Armond. I think I got the IE7 problem fixed but now I've lost some of the additional styling...so I'm still in search of a solution but the big one is fixed! 3. Susie, I LIKE! THE new website. It is obvious you've spent thousands of hours working on this "little" jewel. Attached is a "corrected" obituary for my much beloved grandmother, Sula Annette Perry Hasten. The mistake was made many years ago, caused by me, I think, during days I was first "learning" to cut and paste. OBITUARY: Bonham Daily Favorite, May 27, 1972 MRS. SULA HASTEN SERVICES TO BE HELD SUNDAY Ravenna - Mrs. Sula Annette Hasten, 76, died In a Bonham hospital at 9:15 p.m. Friday, May 26, 1972. She had been in ill health eight months. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dan Christian officiating. Burial will be in Willow Wild cemetery. Mrs. Hasten was born Oct. 5, 1896, in Gaston, Ala., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Perry. She married Ernest Hasten at Mertens Oct. 6, 1912. Survivors are her husband, Ernest Hasten, of Ravenna, R. C. Hasten of Ector, Leon Hasten of Euless, Leonard Hasten of Mertens and Perry Hasten of Ravenna; one daughter, Mrs. Allene Mauldin of Bonham; two brothers, Lee and Ernest Perry, both of Mertens, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hasten was a member of the Ravenna Baptist church. Members of the family were to be at the funeral home between 8-9:30 o'clock Saturday night to receive friends. Many thanks. 3. Bless you! Introducing, DropBox! https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTMwNDY1NzA5 This is my new favorite method of file sharing....and I just love it. Click on the link and take the Tour. If you sign up, we both get 250MB of additional free storage space. If you are willing to sign up (I had one person who wouldn't) I can share a folder with you which we can both access without accessing each other's computers. You can (1) Transcribe obits and put the transcriptions back in the folder... or (2) learn the basics of the html coding needed and code them for me too... or (3) get your own password and post them directly to the site and see your work DONE without my having to intervene. The choice is yours, kind sir. Suzie On Sun, Jan 10, 2010 at 4:05 PM, Don Rubarts <ndrubarts@verizon.net> wrote: > Suzie, > > I will help with this. 3. Don, et al... I've moved the database onto the txfannin server and have been uploading photos. It is still in a beta folder, so it's not the primary site yet. You can access it here <http://cgi.txfannin.org/beta/index.php>. (Remember, I'm still trying to solve that IE7 Problem) Ladonia still has some problems with missing photos. I have a solution that is just time consuming as I have to go "steal" the photo photo from the old site one at a time. I thought I had already collected them all but *obviously*, I was asleep for part of the task.... All of the images for the Biographical Souvenir of Texas should now be working and no longer say "SAMPLE" across every page. I've loaded the photos for MANY of the Cemeteries, so if you find some (other than Ladonia) which say the photos are missing, let me know. We have finished photographing Lamasco and Allens Chapel and Oakwood. Allens Point, Leonard and *WILLOW WILD!!!* are being done. I already have about 3000 photos from Willow Wild. Much of Leonard is completed and ready to upload. I've also photographed about 1/6th of Arledge Ridge but I bet they are still in the camera.... I've gotten permission from the North Texas E-news to re-post ALL of their obits to our site so we can add hot links to other family members mentioned in the obit. We also have 2695 obits which have been scanned but still need transcription. I'm just trying to get all the cemteries loaded so we have a place to put the obit. We have located and *started transcribing* the Fannin County Poor Farm Records from 1895 to 1965 when it closed. The book is oversized and won't fit on a scanner .....we may have to try photographing the pages.... I'm considering a TXFannin Twitter account in order to post updates on additions to the site....anyone have an opinion on that?
