I've not had a chance to really check thoroughly, but I got a cryptic message from someone I don't know asking who I was and why was I connected to his/her log-in. Tommie

I get a blank page with ancestry on top. If I click search, then I get the search pages. May be my browser. Thanks for answering.
A while back, I had to remove all of the bookmarked links I had set up as most of them quit working. It was fine after that.
Is anyone else having trouble again today with Ancestry? Thanks....
It is working fine for me, looking at Texas vital stats plus census.

Some parts of the country are having no trouble...but many (especially in Texas) can't hit multiple TXGenWeb sites. I can't hit my own TXFannin.org site and anyone on the TXGenweb.org servers are also down. The fix should be complete within the hour while they move to a new server, but it may take a while for the internet to "notice" the new server address and have everything back in action. The old TXFannin site on Rootsweb is still working. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txfannin/ Suzie

I guess they don't know about the Holcombs??? I wonder if the Eula Cambron who visited in 1910 lived at Rose Hill near Tom Bean. In case they do, we now own the Cambron farm in that area. One of the Cambron girls married a Biggerstaff - don't know too much else about the family. We have owned the farm for more than 50 years. I do know Billy D. Dockery and his wife since I once lived in Trenton - in the late 1930s until 1941. Also went to school with Paula Jean, sister to Mary Lou. Sorry I can't help. After many years of genealogy searching I'm always happy to help when I can. Regards. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I subscribe to the Trenton Tribune just so I can get the "Look at the Past" column but the newspapers are usually very late arriving in Newport, RI and I haven't received last week's issue yet. How many years ago did Eula visit Floyd? The Cambrons were related to my gm Clara May Keller Holmes, Floyd's wife. My gf Floyd started out w/ a store in Nobility in the early 1900s and then in the early 1920s moved the family to Trenton where he was a merchant. No direct descendants of Floyd remained in Fannin Co. All the children moved out. (Tom Mc Holmes who runs the Trenton Tribune is not related to my Holmes family, or, definitely not closely related.) But there are relatives of my gm Clara May Keller Holmes who live there. Clara May's sister Frances Fredericka married Earl Dockery and there are a number of Dockery relations including Mary Lou Dockery Kissinger, now at Seven Oaks Care Center in Bonham and Nancy Bellows who lives in Ector. Those are the two I keep in touch with. If there are others, please let me know. As you know from the email, I'm looking for the Holcomb connection to Floyd but am interested in connecting with any others as well. I will be in Texas this coming weekend and Bill Dockery has asked me to speak Sunday, May 16 at the Indian Creek Cemetery decoration day service. (Both Floyd and Clara May Holmes are among my relatives buried there.) Thank you again. Johanna Becker Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
