Is there a Blossom Prairie Cemetery in Fannin County, or surrounding area? Understand that Dr. Franklin Talbott is buried there. Can anyone help? Nancy Hart
Susan, thank you so much for providing Fannin County Folks and Facts online. I have been unable to view pp. 371-372, which are of the greatest interest to me. Pages 369-370 are viewable as are pp. 373-374, but a window pops up for pp. 371-372 with the notation "Not Found...on this server." Were they missing from the book that you scanned? I hope not. Thanks a lot! Mary Ann Hoppe
Whoops, Right town, wrong name for the paper. I have seen a booklet that had some newsarticles, but not a lot. Still looking for the Pearson's, Hawkins's, James's and Cranes of Bonham and Hunt Co. f180.html is gone a missing, So far so great! Chuck Gibson
The whole book of FanninCounty Folks and Facts is now online. If you run on something that needs correcting or improving let me know. I kept the sizes of the pages fairly large so the images could be saved and printed themselves on sheets . If you have problem with a older computer I can email an image to you if you can receive a file that big. You can 'right click ' on any of the page images to view it alone if that helps with a slower computer --choose view image' on it. Also you can choose to 'save as' on a file by right clicking. That way you can save the page you want. I can do some high resolution scans if you need a quality photograph plucked out of the page. Some of the pictures may need that. They can be put on a floppy and taken some place like walmart and they will print them out on photographic paper. The last 40 pages of the book were memorials and photographs. I do not believe they were included in Ediths index. So I typed the peoples surnames on the page. The search engine will pick them up then. I will notify my 'spider' to index it tonight it will be done by midnight probably. Susan

I sent email to you but it was returned. There is a very good possibility we can make connections with information we have. The name Marion is found in so many Satterfield families..even my uncle and cousin. Arthur Satterfield born in S. C. named a son Marion. We have census records of this family in GA. and TX. Yes, a nephew was Sheriff in Hill County, TX. He died in 1937.
