I have copy of Richard & Mary Ewings marriage certificate in Hot Springs, AR. Richard left Mary taking the four older sons and joined with Lucy Reed, a neighbor's daughter. (Would appreciate more info on Lucy Reed's family) I find no marriage records for Richard's next 3 wives; (3) Emma Baker, but have record of 4th wife Viola Hurless Eames Evans who outlived Richard in DeQueen, AR. My family never knew about (?) or mentioned the 5th son Ollie/Oliver Jones. At one point I found a Mary Jones death record when she was over 100 years old possibly in Fannin Co TX but can't refind it. Also found listing of an Olliver Jones who was born in 1900 who could be my great uncle both deaths could have been Fannin Co TX. I would like to connect with any decendants of Olliver if they fit into my Mary E. Ewi! ng Jones & son Olliver Jones. Any help would be appreciated and especially obits for Mary & Olliver Jones. *****************

I'm most interested in identifying the children in both families, as the 1880 census gives only initials. I believe John D. Barnhill was either the father or adoptive father of Earl Seaborn BARNHILL (b. 1867 in MS). Also seeking information on James H. HOWARD (b. 1838, d. before 1900 in Fannin Co.). James H. HOWARD married Rebecca Jane DOSSEY. Willing to share information on any of these individuals or allied lines.
