Hello List, I am a new member. I am looking for descendants and in of JOHN A TAYLOR b:12-1878 Fentress Co TN. He moved to Texas with his family in 1897 and died there about 1932. C. L. Marley, Don't know anything about a Black family, however, my husband's great grandfather was Joe Lane. He married Sally Dillo after the death of his first wife. Is it possible that your Mary could have been a sister to Sally or Joe? Joe Lane had grandsons, named Charley and Oral. This seems like to much of a coincidence to be ignored. Have you found the Black family on any census records? Where did they come from? Please keep in touch. My address is darrellhart@attbi.com if you want to e-mail me privately. I was wondering if you have found anymore information on your John B. Stone. The daughter of John Stone b. abt 1852 married George A. Richardson in 1907 in OK. Her family was in Fannin Co., TX in 1900. A brother of George A. Richardson whose name is Reuben Levi Richardson married Bertha Mae Phillips & her parents were Reuben Phillips & Sarah Jane Wiggins. Reuben Levi Richardson was born in MO. & so was Bertha Mae Phillips. George A. & Winnie (Stone) Richardson died in Paducah, Cottle Co., TX. The Richardson family were also in Missouri before they came to Texas. I was just wondering if you have come across anything on your John B. Stone or any of the names mentioned above. Thanks Mary
My grandfather had a cousin named William Owens. I don't know if he lived in Hunt or Fannin Co. or on the line. Granddad was John William Johnson who was kin to the Teagues also. Any help would be appreciated. Peggy
Hi Connie, How are you? This info may be nothing, but I have a group of Kincaid's from Roane and Rhea/Meigs Co. of East TN. I am not related to them, as far as I know, but my CASH's and FORD's served under them during the Civil War. They lived in close proximity to my guys in the area's above. James Madison Kincaid was company commander of Co. B, 5th TN Cavalry(McKenzie's)....a Confederate Unit under Gen'l Wheeler. After the War, many of these families came to Fannin Co. TX. As far as I can tell, my group seems to have gone near Bonham, Fannin Co. TX ca. late 1870's to 1880. Other associated names coming from this area are: Ford, Rogers, Gibson, Deatherage or Edgemon?....buried in Coontown cemetery with the Gibson's and others. Might be unrelated but will share what I have. Take Care, Chris

I found info indicating a James Harvey Kincaid and a Mary E Kincaid, both married to Walkers, migrated to Fannin County, Texas from Tennessee within a couple of years of my GGF's birth there. Do you know if these were Alexander's brother and sister, or cousins? Do you know from what part of Tennessee they came from? Also, do you have any info on Alexander's parents, or other siblings? I've found a lot of Kincaids from Tennessee, but can't make the connections I need. I would appreciate any info you could share. My E-Mail address is Cagastelum2001@aol.com. Thank You, Connie
