    3. Hey Mike. I'm not sure to tell the truth. U have not been able to track relatives of my grandfathers brothers and sister. My aunt, Velma Lee Cates married a man from Wolfe City; his name Weldon Anthony. I've been told the Anthonys' had a store in Wolfe City and Sherman. Do you have ancestors named Cates? If so, where'd they originate. My Cates' originated in Tennessee and had an original surname of CATE, not CATES. Please let me know what we can do. 3. One of my Scott's married a James Shelby Hudson in Texas. She was Elizabeth Caroline Scott b: 17 May 1842 d: 18 Apr 1911 in Lamasco, Fannin Co., TX. They had the following children: Martha, George W., Robert R., Shelby, and Bluffort Mac Hudson. Do any of these names ring a bell? I have a picture of a Shelby Hudson and wife. I really think it must be the son, not my Elizabeth and James Shelby. The picture is too recent looking.
