I have found John Daniel NUNNALLY and his other sons (William Ellis, Harris Davis, Claude Miles) on all of the censuses except 1900 and this is a critical census not to have! I have searched TX, Indian Territory and Oklahoma Territory every conceivable way I can think of using just partial given and partial surname with wild cards, soundex, just age and birth place, etc etc and come up with zilch so far. I would say he's Frank's nephew because John's mother was born in Mississippi and so was Frank's mother. Where did Frank die? There's a John F. Lawson, stepson to John C. Mitchell in the Fannin County 1880 Census. John C.'s wife is Martha M. Mitchell. Is this your Frank? There's a Martha Lawson in the 1870 census in Hunt County that is a good fit for the Martha above. The head is either John or James Lawson, the handwriting is horrible. They have a daughter - Orah maybe? - who is 9 in 1870, which would be the right age to be a mother to John Nunnally. She was born in Mississippi. Hope some of this helped! Tracy
