She did have a sister in Honey Grove Mandy Long and I do not have her married name... Any help on any of these families is greatly appreciated..all As far as I know lived in Fannin County ,Texas.. Honey Grove and Bonham areas.

You did not mention your grandfather's name. My gg grandfather, Charles Hamilton Bellows, was in the Cherokee Regiment (Special Services.). He was born in Callaway Co. MO. He ended up in Fannin Co. also. I am not tracing the Burkett's, but I have one in my family that married a William Franklin "Will" Burkett and they lived near Honeygrove. This Will married Nora Florence Ward on 30 August 1898 in Fannin County. I'm sorry but I know nothing else about him. Hope it helps. I am working on the Ward family.
