I've checked Oakwood in Honey Grove and she isn't listed on their index. I also checked McCraw's chapel and she wasn't listed on that index. Any one know of a death list for Fannin Co, Tx in 1899. Knowledge of the years these studios were in operation might help determine a date for some of the photos or even the identity of relatives in the photos. Is anyone in this group researching the Coopers who move to Fannin (Ed Hube) area from Union Parish, Louisiana?
Ok, Jerry thanks very much. Good luck. Vickye
No. I grew up in Dallas, but the Roberts are offshoots from my BEARD-CROY line. I included them only to see if there might be a cluster of graves somewhere. I'll look into that Trout family some more. To throw a wrench into things, the Mary Benson listed in Cooke County 1880 is James Benson's SECOND wife (not Mary Trout, but also named Mary). I am not sure if the James Benson in Fannin County is in fact my James Benson, but considering the information I have (Trout surname), it seems to be a good bet. Do you know of any marriage record indeces from this time period in Fannin, Grayson, or Cooke County? I have checked ancestry.com to no avail, but I think their index is missing the years I need.
