Windham is also my husband's ggrandfather. I have Joseph's wife's name as "Julia Tumps Lewis", vs "Tump" as I've seen on internet sources. Either way, I'm not sure of her ancestry. One source lists her parents as Napoleon B. Lewis (born AL) and Mary Charlotte Magee/McGee (born MS), but I can't confirm it. Do you have anything more on her? I have Joseph's parents as Nathaniel Windham and Mary Jane Jacobs, both born in Calcasieu Parish, LA. Mary Jane's parents are Elisha Jacobs (born in Plymouth Co, Mass in 1790) and Caroline Bass (born 1811 in Miss). Do you know the origin of the "Tecumseh" name in the family?
