    3. The Hudson and Henson families are our links to Falls County. Nellie Cealie Henson b1876, Port Sullivan. Nellie married WT Williams and had several children. After her husband Mr. Williams died, Nellie married R.M. Hudson in Johnson Co TX, 1912. We were told that Mr. Hudson was Nellie's childhood sweetheart and to look in Lott TX to find more information. So far, our R.M. Hudson cannot be accounted for after 1912. Nellie and her family lived in the Central Texas area for the most part of her life. She died in Fort Worth, 1952. Many of her descendants still live in the Fort Worth to Waco area. Successes 1 - Our greatest find was Nellie Henson and RM Hudson's marriage license. When going to the Cleburne court house, looking for a lead, we found their marriage listed in the record book. We were asked if we wanted their marriage license. It seems that they never picked up their original license from the courthouse. As Nellie and RM 's only grandson, my husband was delighted to find this treasure. 2 - When seeking information on Mr. Hudson, we searched for their twin son's birth certificate. Nellie's twin sons were told at the Cleburne courthouse that their birth certificates must have been destroyed in a courthouse fire. New birth certificates were issued with the name they took at birth which was Williams. When we were in the genealogy library in Austin we found the room that holds books listing Texas births-deaths. We found their original combined birth record listed with the name - Two boys Hudson. We got a then requested a copy of the original birth certificate which listed their father as R.M. Hudson, profession - carpenter. We believe additional research in the Falls - Milam county area eventually should lead to more clues.
