He later married Caledonia Byers whose parents, James W Byers and Mary Ann Brandon Byers had come from Bartow Co, GA abt the time of the Civil War. James Byers Reddings, a son of Henry George and Callie Redding married Georgia Pearl Mathews, daughter of Willie Mathews (GA) and Nancy Lee Anna Brown Mathews (GA) Willie was the son of Little Berry Mathews and Salina Martin Mathews (both of Oglethorpe Co, GA). L B and his second wife came to Robertson Co, TX by way Alabama and settled in the Hearne, TX area a decade or so after the Civil War. Nancy Lee Anna was the daughter of Vincent Jefferson Brown and Temperance Gentry Brown who also came from Bartow/Polk Co, GA right after the Civil War. She was a first cousin of Big Charlie Brown, husband of Dee Roll Brown. Elaine
