Carolyn, My husband is related to Powers, Curry, Huffman and Rogers in Falls County. His 3rd great grandmother was Sarah Smith Huffman Powers. Her first husband was Soloman Huffman and her 2nd husband was Elijah P. Powers. They are buried in Powers or Flowers Cemetery, along with Nicholas Huffman, her son. Soloman and Sarah Huffman's daughter, Tennessee Huffman, married Nathaniel F. Rogers, son of Larkin Rogers and Mary Ann Aycock. Larkin and Mary Ann are buried in Stranger Cemetery. Tennessee and Nathaniel are buried in the Rogers Cemetery in Reagan. I would like to find more info on Sarah and Soloman Huffman. I know they were married in Davidson County, TN. I do not know when Soloman died or where. Great that we can connect. I will be gone Wed afternoon and Thurs morning. Then gone again on Fri noon for a week. I am going to Washington, DC for National DAR meeting.
