He married Annie Eliza Jones, b December 26, 1858, d May 8, 1920 — a daughter of Hastings and Mary (Hanna)Jones. Samuel Fletcher and Annie Eliza Barclay had five children: Earl Raymond Barclay, b August 23, 1887, d May 23,1927—no further information. Mary Rosamond Barclay, b May 6, 1889, d December 1970 — married December 21, 1920 to Drew Hobdy, and had Samuel Drew Hobdy, b December 19,1927. Charles Hastings Barclay, b August 11, 1891, d August 8, 1978 in Marlin, Falls County, Texas and buried in Calvary Cemetery in Marlin — married November 16, 1916 to Clo Robbins, b September 21, 1894 at Reagan, Falls County, Texas, d March 21, 1981 in Marlin, and buried by her husband. They were the parents of Charles Hastings Barclay, Jr., b May 12, 1924 in Marlin, Texas, who now resides near Belton, Texas, and Bettye Jo Home, b September 19, 1926. Samuel Clark Barclay, b August 14, 1894, d Feb-ruary 25, 1974 — married Ann Crosier, who resides in Waco, Texas. John Forbes Barclay, b December 26, 1901 — no further information.
