Becker, b August 4, 1884 at Frelsburg, Colorado County, Texas was a son of Theo G. and Anna (Hillje) Becker, who moved to Falls County, Texas in the Fall of 1884 and settled in the Wilson Community. They were farmers and ranchers; and their other children included four sons and two daughters, three of whom lived in Falls County all their lives: Louis F. Becker, Helen Becker, and Ida Becker. In 1910, Otto W. Becker was married to Erna Amanda Sitz a daughter of Julius and Ernestine (Kasner) Sitz. They had five children: Anna M. Becker, who married a Mr. Boecker. Oscar F. Becker served in the U.S. Navy for three years, during World War II. Esther Becker, b May 7, 1915 near Wilson, Falls County, Texas married October 28, 1936 to George W. Barkemeyer, b June 28, 1915 at Ben Arnold a son of George F. and Minnie (Giese) Barkemeyer, of Falls County. They had OGene W. Barkemeyer, b January 6,1938 at Wilson, who married Annette Baxter, and served in the U.S. Air Force 19601963; Ruth E. Barkemeyer, b February 24, 1940 at Wilson, who married Donald H. Anderson; Georgia L. Barkemeyer, b May 2, 1944 in Rosebud, Falls County, Texas, who married Lee A. Wood. Arthur L. Becker, b ca 1917 served in the U.S. Air Force five years during World War II, and moved away. Letha E. Becker, b ca 1919, who married a Mr. Boehme, and moved out of the county. The only one of the children of Otto W. and Erna Amanda (Sitz) Becker who is still residing in Falls County is Esther (Becker) Barkemeyer, whose husband, George Barkemeyer, is engaged in farming and ranching near the Wilson Community.
