I have some newspaper clippings of the bridge somewhere in my mother's papers. Dr. Allen along with a Dr, Bowie owned Bowie-Allen Hospital in Marlin. That building still stands along with Dr. Allen's home, which belongs to the city now. My friend, young Walter passes away about twenty years ago. Let me know if you need additional info...Don Sharp
