    3. John, Edgar C. Singer is buried in Calvary Cemetery next to Harriet N. Singer and Clara M. Singer. Also buried in that family plt is Sarah Jane Hughes Phipps (wife of Tolliver), Joel Anderson Phipps, Mary Singer Phipps. I have the dates on their tombstones if you want them. Edgar was born 10-21-1825 and died 4-30-1919. Harriet was born 5-02-1830 and died 3-17-1893 I also have this third and the fourth section of the Calvary Cemetery transcribed and will send it to Theresa to put on the Falls County Website. E.C. Singer was the designer and builder of the Confederate submarine, Hunley. I have found him listed in the 1910 Falls county census and two of his daughters, Annie (Singer) Jones and Mary Remington (Singer) Phipps are buried in the Calvary cemetery. It is possible he is also buried there. I would appreciate any information on E.C. Singer and his descendents in Falls county.
