I have a different name for the mother of Sarah Erwin Marlin from an old Erwin family Bible. This Bible had her listed as Eliza A. McKenzie, the daughter of John McKenzie. On the 1860 Falls Co., TX census, A.J. and Eliza were living next door to her uncle, Henry J. McKenzie. Henry and John McKenzie were the sons of Lacy McKenzie and Nancy James. Sarah and Jack Erwin named their son Samuel (after Jack's father) Lacy Erwin. Have anymore info on this--or know how to contact a Jones descendant?

Hi Shirley: I am 83 year old Bill Jones who lives in Milan, Tennessee. I did have Jones relatives who lived in Falls County, Texas as long ago as the middle 1870's. Hello to the list; I'm looking for any information on the William Jones Hart Family, which relocated from IN to Falls Co., TX, near Durango... around 1870. I do not know if Gabriel Hart, Wm's father made the trip and I am especially trying to locate him in either Spencer Co. IN, Glass TWP or with the family in Durango. The connecting Families that I know would be: Hahn; Westmoreland; Boyd; Buster; and Crews. I have some more dates, and given names if anyone has interest. William Jones Hart is my G/GF, Gabriel my GG/GF and I would appreciate any information that anyone may have. Thanks for taking the time with me and good hunting to all. Sam Hart Grand Prairie,
