Etheridge/Ethridge. He left Lawrence County Alabama and moved to Falls County Texas about 1857. The 1870 Falls County census lists him as a Justice of the Peace, with a Marlin, TX mailing address. Falls County cemetery records shows that several of his children and his wife's (Elizabeth Aldridge Taylor) children are buried at Powers Family Cemetery but no listing for them. I have good information on him up to 1860. Would like to know about his life in Texas. Will share the information I have about him. Thanks.

I belief his death was in 1928. His first wife was named Amelia, their children were, Andrew, Mary and Amelia. His 2nd wife was Margaret (TYSON)Fleming. Their children were: dau. Annie (mar. LILES)dau. Margaret Jean (mar. CAPERS) dau. Julia Eloise (mar. BLACKWOOD), son John, son James and son Thomas William. I'm looking for records of his first wife Amelia (DUNCAN) FLEMING. Her mother's name was Mary DUNCAN. Andrew FLEMING Sr., his wife Amelia, and her mother, Mary, were born in Fife County Scotland. I'm also trying to find any connections to GGM Margaret Fleming nee: TYSON who may have been born in Pennsylvania. Her father was B.J. TYSON. A good many years ago, probably 40, a Ms. Rachui used to keep my children when I needed to go somewhere. I do not remember anything regarding her family, except she was a very sweet lady, and did not speak real good English. I believe she was German.
