Neither. My husband is a Wierzbicki and his aunt is married to a Filar. I live across the road from Floyd and Timmy Wachel.
Are you a Wachel or Filar? My name is Joseph Wachel, line in Houston.
Which ones? There are an abundance of both of these in Bremond and surrounding area. I can give you phone numbers and probably addresses of a number of these.

Posted on: Falls County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Falls/655 Surname: Cone, Stanford, Scarborough, Holland ------------------------- Archie Morgan Cone married Mary C. Stanford in early 1880 McLennan County, TX. The newlyweds are listed on the 1880 Falls County, TX census. Mary C. Stanford was a daughter of the Rev. Thomas Stanford of McLennan County. Archie Morgan Cone was born in 1850, and died in 1895. He is buried in McLennan County in the Stanford Chapel Cemetery. I believe that he was a son of Martin Luther Cone and his wife, Sarah Ann Scarborough. Martin and Sarah lived in Milam County, TX from prior to 1860 through their deaths. I don't know where they are buried. Another of their sons was Robert Newton Cone, who is believed to be buried in Falls County, TX. According to census, Archibald Cone, the son of Martin and Sarah, was deaf or dumb. According to census, Archie Morgan Cone, the husband of Mary Stanford, was also deaf or dumb. Does anyone recognize these people?
Posted on: Falls County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Falls/654 Surname: Roberts ------------------------- I do not have info on Roberts that late. Mine are mid 1800's. I recommend you try 1910 or 1920 census to establish place. If they are in Falls County, look for burial on cemetery site. I have info on Joel Roberts and can help you there. Your family may be part of Joel Roberts family but census would help you there. Good Luck.

There has been a major problem with certain lists on Rootsweb since last Friday. I am not sure how this list is going to be effected by the crashed server at Rootsweb, you were not one directly effected. The server is up and running again and I have a favor to ask each of you. If you begin receiving a large amount of messages that have backed up in the system since last Friday. Please be understanding, USE YOUR DELETE KEY, yelling and screaming will not stop it. I am holding on for dear life. I will have messages coming to me from 171 mailing lists hitting me all at once along with bouncing messages and messages from those of you asking for help. Together we will get through this and look back on this day as the "Day of the Rootsweb Flood", and laugh. If you have asked to be unsubscribed, that request was most likely never received. Please understand that even if I unsubscribe you now, I cannot stop what you are going to receive. If the lists do not look the same, meaning the headers are gone. I will bo back and take care of that when this flood is over. Good luck and I look forward to getting back to normal when the sun is again shinning. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

Posted on: Falls County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Falls/648 Surname: Fortune ------------------------- Does anyone know if the Baptist church keeps records on past ministers. This would be late 1800's or early 1900's. My gg-grandfather, John Augustus Fortune Jr. was from Falls county and was a Baptist minister according to the book, "Families of Falls County" by The Falls County Historical Commission. I cannot find when or where he died. Just thought I might get some clues if there were any kind of church records. Thanks, Mary
