    3. Hi, Larry, I am back from a Family Reunion at the Holiday Inn at \stephenville Holiday Inn of Wyly Kin. I was chairman and very busy when I saw your request. We found out too late that the Wyly- Hufff related families of West Texas had one the same day. \They are cousins. Saw Marilyn Giesekie Mills Ewers at Stephenville Cross Timbers Country Opry and her husband Fred Ewers. Our reunion group always visits the Country Opry for the last 10 plus years. The M.C. is Durwood Rowell of KRLD radio in Dallas, an Okie, I think, and the host announcer of the network Baptist Hour. We enjoy having fun together- we can do our own thing when we get home. Now , for Millerville. I think some may confuse Millerville with Miller Hill in Erath County. Miller Hill is on the road from Johnsville to Pony Creek. There is a sharp right turn past the Pony Creek church a mile or so. If you went straight you would run through the Elvis Riggs home place and old Hurley land. Then there is a long hill down towards Mitchell Creek church and the old Pony Creek school site. Some of us as early teenagers used to ride our bikes to the foot of Miller Hill on Davis or Tarpley land and play Irish Swing games (Square dances or Ring Games to the singing of everyone, then set down about 9 or 9:30 P.M. and listen to country Classical instrumental music- Over the Waves Waltz, , Soldier's Joy, & others) while we rested and ate cookies or homemade ice cream, to regain our strength to pedal back up Miller's Hill, then home was only 3 more miles. Cemeteries nearby would be Box- Pony Creek, Beach Family Cemetery, possibly Mitchell Creek Baptist Church cemetery, and Cedar Point cemetery. One of the teachers at Johnsville and Selden Schools was Esther Miller. Will check H. Grady Perry's Grand Old Erath book later. Take care, Charles Wyly.
