To all, There is a Millerville Cemetery which is just north of Hico and is in the edge of Erath County......this was where the Millerville community was at one time. It has nothing to with Miller Hill, Millersview, Miller Grove, or other similar names. Whether is is on a road map, almanac, world globe, or whathave you makes no difference. There was once a Millerville in Erath County and all that is left is those in the cemetery with all due respect to those still living nearby. It is located s.w. of Duffau or s.e. of Clairette...north of Hico. Marilyn Giesecke Mills Ewers published a community history in 1992 which will be in area libraries. The cemetery is one of those included in the three set "Erath County Cemeteries" of Hudson & Cawyer which are widely circulated and will contain listings of those buried before ca. 1970. HOWERTON, GIESECKE, NIX, LIVELY are some of the names of those buried there.
