Greetings! I have posted my family names in the past, but thought I might "throw out the line" again. I am searching for information regarding Unicy A. PHELPS. She married Moses HOLYFIELD on Aug, 1843 in Wayne County, MS. They came to Texas abt. 1870 and settled in Old Moulton, Lavaca County, TX. Their children were: Ransom J. (1850-1930), Lazarus (Bud) (1852-1940), Sine Jefferson (Jeff) (1853-1941), John Henry Hays (1860-1939) and Amanda (Sis) (1862-1887). It is believed that Unicy was of German descent.
