Walter, When I saw UNDERWOOD I ran tomy fiels because I have one UNDERWOOD connection there. I'm not sure I can hep you but I have Frank Croiel ADKISSON "Frankie" b abt 1878 Jewett TX and d. 1925 md. Tom B. "T.B." UNDERWOOD. They had 7 children. Brence, Marshall, Turner, J.B., Nina, Velma, Cleo. Brence with his aunt for awhile after his mother's death. Marshall and his wife never ahd chlidren but took in a ADKISSON's cousins child upon her death. Cleo md. Ernest DOTSON Cleo died young and her 4 youngest children were adopted out. NO more known abt.them. sorry......when I saw you were looking for adoption and UNDERWOODs I remembered there were some adoptions in this family and thought they might connect but it sure doesn't look like it.
