I love the internet! :) I found my Danner line!!!! Turns out that the wife of a Danner cousin of mine is a librarian at the Dick Smith Library, Tarleton State Univ. in Stephensville, in Erath Co. :))) what a coincidence. She did research for and helped write at least one book on the Danner line. See http://www.getzendanner.com for more info on the books. I had been searching for Jesse Danner, who I had thought was descended from John and Lena Danner. Turns out John was Jesse's older brother. John had a daughter named Jessie, which may be where the confusion came in. Jesse Danner's father's name was Jacob.
